By profession he was a Co- operative Bank secretary at Ashtamichira Service Co-operative Bank. After 33 years of trusted service he had retired from service in 1992. Soon after that he had laid the foundation stone for THAZHUTHAPURATH FINANCE (Regd.) in 1993 as a Partnership Firm with his two sons Baiju. Rapheal and Binu. Rapheal.
He was the Managing Partner of the firm. All the classes of people in Pazhookara and surroundings are well known to him and he was a well trusted person by faith and character to all of them. So the business grown very quickly and became a noted Kuri and Gold Loan firm in Mala Grama Panchayath and surrounding areas very soon.
At the same time he was the Director and Managing Director of Central Kerala Kuries Pvt.Ltd Aloor, a prestigious Kuri company in Thrissur District. Our light and Inspiration passed away on 8th March 2011 and his elder son Baiju.Rapheal took over as the new Managing Partner and running the business now. Along with the chit business we provide “Gold Loan” and “Money Transfer” to our valuable customers.

The firm, registered as per the rules and regulations under Partnership Act 1932, started operation in 1993. Since then Thazhuthapurath Finance(Reg.) has successfully introduced 42 various kuries that have benefited customers ranging from business class to commoners, with a solid subscriber base , exceeding 6000 in number.
